Geri is the founder and organizer of Sinag an art collective of 70 Flipino-american painters, sculptors, photographers, writers, and poets based in Chicago and neighboring suburbs. Our mission is to connect with other Flipino-american creatives in the area to celebrate our Flipino heritage and increase our visibility. It is our hope that by coming together and putting shows, people of all backgrounds will gain a broader understanding of Filipino heritage, and how it has been influenced by american culture, from a variety of perspectives.
